According to Enrique, the Brazilian comments will have made the Dutchman 'mad' ahead of the Merseyside derby.
Van Dijk won last season PFA Player of the Year award and finishing as runner-up in the 2019 Ballon d'Or.
And ahead of the clash between Everton and Liverpool on Sunday, the Brazilian claimed there are better defenders than the Dutch international, and named Thiago Silva, Marquinhos and Sergio Ramos as superior to him.
'People talk a lot about him,' said Richarlison. 'Yes he is a great defender but I've already dribbled past him. For me there are better defenders.'
Posting on Instagram, Enrique said: 'Richarlison an advice for next time. Speak after the game mate now you got vvd mad. Let's see what happens. Come on reds!!'
Just so you recall that Richarlison was on target in the reverse fixture at Anfield, but Everton fell to a 5-2 defeat.
The 23-year-old forward signed from Watford last summer for an initial fee of £35million. He has scored 10 goals in 27 Premier League games this campaign for Everton.
Meanwhile, van Dijk is also enjoying a brilliant campaign, making 40 appearances across all competitions and scoring four goals.
