Arsenal rave of the moment Bukayo Saka will fulfill a lifetime dream of his father if he decides to switch allegiance to Nigeria at senior level after representing England at various youth levels, according to Owngoalnigeria.com
Saka who was one of the most impressive player on display for Arsenal in their 1-1 draw against Manchester United yesterday in the Premier League has played for national team of England at U16, U17 and U19 level but still eligible for senior international football with Nigeria.
According to a source who is close to the father of the 18 year old, the Super Eagles is one of the favorite team of his father who is a very proud Nigerian and that appears to have rubbed off on Saka who recently said he is a Nigerian, when asked if he is a British-Nigerian.
Although the decision is not for his father to make alone but just like the father of Alex Iwobi he want his son to dorn the colours of Nigeria at senior level and not that of England where he is already a youth international.
For now Nigeria have not approached the player since the U20 coach Paul Aigbogun unsuccessful attempt to have him join his team for their campaign at the 2019 World Youth Championship in Poland.
